This private museum was founded in the family caslte of Antoine Lumiere. His sons, Auguste and Louis, invented here the cinema on the end of the 19th century. The museum presents the first camera of the history, the first movie and other inventions. The atmosphere of the house is still authentic, and replace the everyday life of a family wich had had a big success and belonged to the industrial bourgeoisie on the end of the 19th century. The visit lasts 2 hours.
