Paris Middle Ages walk

Paris

From Saint Medard church to Le Marais district
This tour through the narrow streets, gothic and renaissance churches, old battlements, mansions, timber work houses shows how was Paris at this time ; a small town except its majestic cathedral
So the route avoids large and modern avenues to bring a sense of past, still surviving in Paris nowadays.
From south to north we will have a view of the Latin district; Paris oldest college, then cross the river Seine to get on the Isle of the City, place of the power of the kings and at last reach the north embankment of the Seine close to the eastern boundary of Paris : Philippe Auguste battlement built in 1200.
